We really enjoyed the e-bike tour which was well organised with a great route to Versailles mainly along cycle ways and forest trails. The destination was brilliant. It was quite big day for us both in our 60's but easily manageable, espcially with the route back to Paris being mainly downhill!

This was a really fun trip which we booked at short notice. So glad we did.
The meeting point was easy to find and the good-quality E-bikes were really good to ride.
Reno, our guide, was great and handled a few unexpected issues ie route closures, puncture etc very well. The whole day was well structured and Reno gave us lots of details along the way.
We booked to go on a bank holiday weekend and so Versailles was seriously overcrowded but all in all we had a great day of which the bike ride through the woodlands, small towns and, yes, even Paris itself was the highlight.
Highly recommended.

This was one of only two activities we booked in advance of our week in Paris, and I’m so glad we did! It was our favorite day! The e-bikes themselves are really good quality bikes and super fun to ride, clearly very well-maintained. The paths through wooded areas and small towns were just beautiful and we never would have been able to find them on our own, so it was great to just get to follow someone without paying attention to navigating. The farmers market in Versailles where you buy your own picnic lunch was my idea of heaven: copious options for fresh fruit, cheese, meats, breads, wine (the guide has a wine opener and some cups on hand!), and picnicking on the grounds of the palace was beautiful (he even provides blankets). I actually found visiting the palace the least interesting part of the day (sooooo crowded, but that’s just me). Only two tiny little recommendations I would add: having a knife and some napkins on hand for the picnic would be helpful, and make sure you bring plenty of water (and then buy more at lunch). Refilling water bottles didn’t seem to be an option anywhere.

We’re avid cyclists in New York City, so for us the cycling through Paris to get to the countryside was fun and not stressful at all, but some others on the tour with less city riding experience were a little uncomfortable with the very busy traffic on the way home. However the tour guide does a great job of making sure everyone gets through all the intersections and no one gets left behind, so you are in good hands!

We visited Paris in April and decided to book this tour, loved it so much that when we returned with our children in July, we took it again.
The tour in April happened during the rainy season but this was not an issue as we were provided with waterproof overalls which kept us
dry. Both the April and July tours with Renaud were amazing. The e-bikes provide the necessary boost to get up-hill easily. Once out of the city, the forest paths are super nice and peaceful, the tour stops on a lovely street market where you can find all sorts of locally made cheeses, charcuterie, fresh breads, wine, etc. The picnic that follows, take place in the gardens near the water channels of the Versailles palace, a super relaxing experience. The tour then takes us to small Trianon palace - highly recommend doing a very quick tour of the palace itself - it pales in comparison with Versailles Palace - and instead focus in the gardens, especially taking the time to walk around the village far to the left, that area is unique, beautiful and unlike anything else you will see in Paris tours, feels like the french countryside. The Versailles Palace is next and having done this twice with this tour, I would highly recommend starting the tour on the King’s State Apartments/Hall of Mirrors. Time is limited and there are two ways of doing the tour: starting with the Princess's and Queen apartments and then following with the Kings apartments or vice-versa. We found that starting with the Princess’ quarters - which are considerably less impressive than the Kings apartments- does not give you enough time to admire the best part of the palace. On out second visit in July, we focused all of our time in the Kings apartments, skipping the Princess’ apartments all together - no regrets.
The return bike trip is easier, mostly down hill.
We love this tour, Renaud is super attentive, communicative and prepared. We highly recommend this tour.
