Experience traditional sparkling wine craftsmanship on our Celebrate Life Tour – including a very special live disgorging. Here at Henkell Freixenet, we have always been passionate about manufacturing our sparkling wines according to traditional bottle fermentation methods, which we have maintained and continuously developed over the years. But how exactly do we turn selected grapes into delightful sparkling wines? Join the Celebrate Life tour and find out!

The Celebrate Life Tour starts in the magnificent marble hall at our headquarters in Wiesbaden. The next stop takes you to one of our production hall and then seven floors down into the depths of our wine cellar, where you will learn everything about the different methods for manufacturing Sekt, Cava, Prosecco, Champagne and Crémant. You will be able to experience the process for yourself in the Sektmanufaktur, our in-house sparkling wine manufactory. Have you ever seen yeast freeze – right in the neck of a bottle of sparkling wine? This step is necessary to separate the yeast from the liquid and is known as “disgorging”. After this live demonstration, enjoy the freshly disgorged premium sparkling wine in its natural form. The Celebrate Life Tour ends with a visit to our Henkell Freixenet store, where you can shop to your heart’s content.

A 66 coming from Frankfurt: Please pass the first exit "Wiesbaden/Mainzer Straße; Darmstadt; Wiesbaden-Biebrich (Industriegebiet)". Take the second exit "Wiesbaden-Biebrich". You will then already see the brand logo on the right, immediately next to the highway, on the large building. After the exit, get into the right lane in the direction of "Wiesbaden Stadtmitte". The entrance to the company premises is directly behind. Please park in the visitors' parking lot and report to the gate. A 66 coming from the "Schiersteiner Kreuz" : Take the exit "Wiesbaden-Biebrich" and turn right, direction "Wiesbaden Stadtmitte". After approx. 100 m you will find the entrance to the facilities on the right hand side. Please park in the visitor parking lot and report to the gate.

Take the exit Kaiser-Friedrich-Ring and walk across the traffic light to bus platform C. Take bus line 4 or 14 (Attention: do not take an express bus!) and go five stops to the bus stop "Landesdenkmal". Cross Biebricher Allee at the pedestrian lights. Then walk past the first, closed gate to the main entrance and report to the gate.

We hadden een fijne gids die ons heel veel heeft verteld over het gebouw, de geschiedenis van Henkell en natuurlijk het productie-proces van mousserende wijn. Het live degorgement was erg goed te zien.
De boeking vanuit Nederland verliep erg soepel. Deze 'Celebrate Life'- tour is echt een aanrader

My tour guide was very knowledgeable about both the process for making sparkling wine, and of Henkell’s history. I purchased the grand tour, and was lucky to be the only person at my time. The experience and attention to detail my guide showed was exactly what I was looking for, and I would highly recommend for anyone looking to spend time in Wiesbaden!!

Booked online and forgot to ask for an English tour in the special considerations, but called and was easily able to adjust the tour to English. Staff is friendly and helpful. I've done the Celebrate Life Tour twice and had a fantastic time each trip. Tour guides bring their own unique perspectives, so I learned new facts each time. I would recommend this tour!
